The racist organization Planned Parenthood launched a revolution in the 1950s with the creation of oral contraception known as “the pill.” From the beginning, the drug was known to be harmful to health. It was funded and promoted to women by women. Church Militant’s Trey Blanton reveals liberal women who have been lied to, and why they shouldn’t be surprised.

Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger once said, “Well I think the greatest sin in the world is bringing children into the world that have disease from their parents, that have no chance in the world to be a human being, practically.”

Champions of abortion have long promoted the lie that contraception is pro-woman.

A recent New York Times article prompted women to question why oral contraceptives were “hundreds of times riskier” than the dangerous COVID so-called vaccine. The go-to answer? It’s because the patriarchy doesn’t care about women’s health, saying, “Women’s health just does not get equal attention.”

In the article, an accomplished endurance athlete rages, “Part of my anger was that a medication that I took to control my fertility ended up threatening my mortality. I’m angry that I hadn’t been counseled better about that risk.”

Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, gives one explanation why women are so uninformed:

You have the abortion industry, goes into public high schools, goes into middle schools now, and says, “Trust us. We’ll teach children how not to make bad decisions. But if they make a bad decision, we get to profit off them.” And then we say, “Sure. Here, abortion industry, teach our children about healthy decision-making.”

The FDA has known since the 1960s the pill came with risks including strokes and blood clots, warnings that still remain today.

Another woman with a Ph.D. complains even she wouldn’t be able to figure out the warning labels on contraception — let alone the average woman. Despite learning of the health risks, a third woman exclaims, “Birth control is an incredible invention. Thank God we have it.”

Sanger used money from Planned Parenthood and asked her friend Katharine McCormick to help fund the research and development for the pill. The real question is, “If contraception is not safe for women, why aren’t the women running Planned Parenthood making it safer?”

Hawkins responds, “You’re going to a place that hopes your chemical contraceptive is going to fail because they are going to financially profit off of its failure.”

The Catholic Church has always opposed artificial contraceptives, aware that intrinsic evil begets more evil. American Catholics, however, have broken away from this reality.

Statistics show that in the 1980s, 80% of Catholic women used contraception, and 29% of priests believed it was intrinsically immoral.

Hawkins has this question for young women, “And do you think that maybe there is something different for your life? Maybe you were made for something different than to have random hook-up sex with as many men as you’d want?”

Oral contraceptives disrupt the natural function of a woman’s body. These unnatural actions are not something that can be made safe.
