Rockford’s bishop, David Malloy, is on a rampage against good priests. But his latest victim, Fr. James Parker, was the last straw for Catholics in the diocese.
Church Militant’s William Mahoney looks at the latest protest against Malloy’s modernist tyranny. Over 100 Catholics in the Rockford diocese congregated outside the cathedral Sunday morning to pray for their persecuted priest. Joining the stand for the priest, some of his former parishioners even drove from Dubuque, roughly two hours from Rockford.
Bishop David Malloy, last month, used the Wuhan virus as a ruse to punish Fr. James Parker, a tireless worker in the Lord’s vineyard (known to be more traditional).

Father Parker is the holiest priest I know. He went to extraordinary lengths, when we were all locked down to our homes, to bring us Jesus, to bring us the sacraments, to have confessions outdoors. Whenever you have a conversation with him, he always leaves you with a blessing, either consecrating you to the Sacred Heart or the Immaculate Heart or just giving you his fatherly, priestly, spiritual blessing. We pray that Our Lady will intercede and surround us and Holy Cross parish and Fr. Parker with her holy mantle and bring a good solution to our problems.
Some Catholics in attendance at Sunday’s gathering were unaware of Malloy’s history ousting good priests, leaving them in a canonical limbo that Rockford Catholics call “the farm.”
Though the faithful were there for Fr. Parker, they quickly got on board for the other persecuted priests — estimated at around 20.
Described by one source as a “vindictive” man, Malloy not only removes these priests from ministry, but makes it impossible for them to go elsewhere.
Some of the prelate’s other victims include Fr. Michael Black, Fr. John Earl, Fr. Aaron Brodeski and Fr. John Lovell. Roughly 800 people gathered on Thursday to support those priests.
Fr. John Lovell: “Christ taught us where two or three are gathered in His name, I am present. Well, look how many people are gathered here today, and let’s hope that number keeps growing and growing.”
A growing number of Catholics are waking up to Bishop Malloy’s ways, and they’re refusing to go away quietly.
David Malloy was ordained a priest by Abp. Rembert Weakland — a homosexual that stole church funds, shuffled around pedophile priests and shredded records on clergy sex abuse.
