United States embassies around the world could soon be flying the LGBT rainbow flag. This comes on orders from Antony Blinken — Joe Biden’s secretary of state.
Rainbow flags ceased flying over embassies in June of 2020 under President Trump. Reinstating gay flags renews the Obama-era policy of forcing the gay agenda overseas.
“We’ve made real progress in advancing equality for LGBT Americans in ways that were unimaginable not too long ago,” Obama said.
For instance, Obama in 2011 threatened to cut off aid to Nigeria over a bill that would ban homosexual activity. Obama’s administration spent tens of millions in tax dollars to fund the gay agenda in foreign countries.
Hillary Clinton — Obama’s secretary of state from 2009–2013, emphasized pro-gay policies in a 2011 speech to the United Nations. “And that is why gay rights are human rights, and human rights are gay rights,” she said.
Obama spoke about so-called gay rights in 2015 while sharing a stage with the president of Kenya. “I’ve been consistent all across Africa on this. I believe in the principle of treating people equally under the law,” he said.
In 2014, the U.S. government cut aid to Uganda — among other penalties — owing to a bill seen as anti-gay.
Even LGBT activists in Africa criticized the Obama policy, calling it an overreach.
This year, Biden signed a pro-transgender executive order his first day in office and picked a transgender pediatrician to be assistant health secretary.
Despite casting himself as a Catholic in good standing, Biden promoted transgenderism during the 2020 primaries, calling it “the civil rights issue of our time.” He has also officiated so-called gay weddings — on at least two occasions.
Now, as rainbow flags can fly again over U.S. embassies, it looks like Biden’s years in office will be a case of Obama déjà vu.
