It’s easy to look at what’s going on in the Church and the world and say “What’s the use of fighting?” But as we watch the sun set on Western civilization, we need to realize that God is calling us to be the heroes of this very age of the Church — the hour of Her greatest need.
It will require heroic virtue to survive this demonic age where it seems that even the Church Herself has been handed over to evil men.
The last 50 years have seen a dearth of true doctrinal teaching. Most people haven’t heard their priests actually preach everything the Church teaches, especially against divorce and remarriage, pornography, contraception, abortion, acting out on homosexual desires and any other hot-button topics.
But now, with nearly everyone having easy access to the internet, a treasury of Catholic information is there for everyone who wants it.

While Church Militant also publishes and sells books, there are several other publishers like TAN Books, Baronius Press and others where you can find reprints of Catholic classics.
You can even find lots of things for free on Archive.org, like a downloadable version of Butler’s Lives of the Saints, among many other books.
The point is, it’s all there for the taking. While the times are dire, there is ample opportunity to obtain graces and knowledge; after all, the deeper the darkness, the brighter the light.

Our Lady herself promised it at Fatima in 1917, when she said, “In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.” While that is not in doubt by people with faith, we must work like Hell is nipping at our heels to make sure we are on the right side of that triumph.
