Joe Biden potentially violated international law to bring Iran to the negotiating table.

Biden, Thursday evening, launched an air strike against Iranian-backed militias in Syria. The local Hezbollah paramilitary group is accused of wounding on Feb. 15 a non-American contractor located with Americans in Iraq.

Biden allowed more rocket attacks to continue against an American base in Iraq until the group had returned to Syria for resupply.

This runs contrary to sound military tactics and, according to Notre Dame Law Professor Mary Ellen O’Connell, violated international law.

O’Connell: “The United Nations Charter makes absolutely clear that the use of military force on the territory of a foreign sovereign state is lawful only in response to an armed attack on the defending state for which the target state is responsible.”

The recent bombing follows 10 years of Syria being battered by Russia and Turkey, the United States and even its own government.

Archbishop Samir Nassar, in Damascus, describes the nation and its weary people as a sinking ship in a storm. Nassar tallies 2.5 million homes destroyed and 200,000 people, including two bishops and four priests, who have vanished without a trace.

Still, Nassar adds, the church in Syria continues its mission to support those affected.

In America, critics are calling out Biden’s own hypocrisy where he tweeted Trump’s Middle East policy was erratic and impulsive, along with how mainstream media reported Biden’s strike versus Trump challenging Iran directly instead of expendable proxies.

Meanwhile, Biden is freeing up $8 billion to give to Iran. Biden claims the money for Iran, which sponsors terrorism, is only for humanitarian aid and not terrorists.

Biden desperately desires Iran return to the nuclear deal Obama signed with the radical Muslim nation. Rather than the Iranian leaders directing the attacks, Biden thinks a show of force against militias that Iran cares nothing about will prove his strength.
