Joe Biden is “at the forefront of the most subtly brutal campaign in the last 100 years to de-Christianize Western culture.”

This is according to German cardinal Gerhard Müller, the Vatican’s former theological watchdog.

The prelate Tuesday told German-speaking Catholic News, “I cannot support a pro-abortion politician because he builds social housing … .”

Müller insisted he can’t accept intrinsic evil merely for some relative good.

Asked about American prelates like Cdl. Blase Cupich, who kowtow to Biden, Müller clarified bishops are different than politicians and ideologues by obedience to the revealed word of God.

The cardinal emphasized one cannot be Catholic and pro-abortion: “Whoever relativizes the clear commitment to the sanctity of every human life with tactical games and sophisticated veils for political preferences openly opposes the Catholic faith.”

Müller revealed there are good Catholics in high-ranking Vatican positions. But owing to what he calls an “anti-Trump effect,” these officials either accept or downplay the radical moves Biden and his ilk are leveling against Christians and people of goodwill in the United States.

With men like Cdl. Wilton Gregory saying he’d give Biden Holy Communion, Müller highlighted there’s an absurd opinion, even among Catholics, that faith is a private matter — thus, something evil can be permitted and even promoted in public life.

He explained that, while governments do not always succeed in enforcing every aspect of natural law, Christians must never participate actively or passively in evil.

Born in Mainz, Germany two years after World War II ended, Müller noted an irony in the Left’s Nazi-name-calling for those upholding Christian values.

He reminds the Left the Nazis were driven by social-Darwinist ideology, in open contradiction to Christian teaching, especially regarding man and woman made in the image and likeness of God.
