An embattled archbishop is speaking out against the deep State and the deep Church.
On Jan. 1, ex-White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon interviewed Abp. Carlo Maria Viganò. Bannon asked the former U.S. papal ambassador about Pope Francis’ alliance with communist China, President Trump and the globalist elites pushing for the so-called Great Reset.
Viganò called Pope Francis out as the leader of a “universal religion desired by globalist ideology,” owing to the pope’s support of the Great Reset, which Viganò observes is part of the communist conquest of the Church and the world.
He called the pope’s cooperation with Chinese communists “an infamous betrayal of the mission of the Church of Christ.” He further noted the pope has “deprived Chinese Catholics of the indefectible defense that the papacy had always been for them.”
Turning to U.S. politics, Viganò conjectured that President Trump should be judged by who his enemies are:
Thus on the one hand we have the Trump administration and the traditional values that it holds in common with those of Catholics; on the other hand we have the deep State of the self-styled Catholic Joe Biden, who is subservient to the globalist ideology and its perverse, anti-human, antichristic, infernal agenda.
In order for Catholics to root out the evil agenda within the Church and in society, Viganò asserts the “Masonic-globalist project” must be exposed and that Catholics must consider “the responsibility that they have before God, their children and their nation: as Catholics, as fathers and mothers of their families and as patriots.”
Bannon also asked Viganò about being accused of peddling so-called conspiracy theories.
Vigano responded, “It is enough to read the globalists’ declarations to understand that the conspiracy exists and that they pride themselves on being its architects, to the point of admitting the need for a pandemic in order to reach their objectives of social engineering.”
