“Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you suppose that it is for nothing that the scripture says, ‘God yearns jealously for the spirit that he has made to dwell in us’? But he gives all the more grace; therefore it says, ‘God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.’ Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy into dejection. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.” (James 4:4-10)

This post is written in the hope that it is not just another article on the American election. I do think the public is being distracted to look away from the obvious. A definition of “Potemkin village” could be a nice looking illusion designed to distract from or even hide a very ugly reality. The expression comes from the days of Grigori Aleksandrovich Potëmkin, who used to build fake villages –temporarily populated with happy and well fed villagers– along the route Empress Catherine the Great traveled through. I understand that was only one of the many ways in which he kept Catherine happy.

The thought went through my mind when I heard that the man currently occupying the throne of St. Peter hasted to congratulate the Democratic Party candidate, Mr. Joseph Robinette Biden. The circle is now closed, I thought. The Catholic Church remained the last moral reference for this world after the gradual fall of the Old Order during the last 500 years. By congratulating Biden, the emergence of the false church is complete. No longer shining the light of truth on the world but validating and election heist, a big lie,  the false church is now in plain view. The abomination is clearly standing where it ought not, darkness is there trying to pass for light.

The above quoted words from the Letter of St. James were written to remind the Christians of the first century to remain as separated from the world as possible. We are in the world but we are not of the world. The words of St. James are an echo of those words of Jesus we find in John 17:14-19 …

“I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world.  I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one. They do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you have sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sake I sanctify myself, so that they also may be sanctified in truth.”

Truth and the present world order are enemies. The Church founded by Christ is in the world to be a sign of contradiction. By her doctrine, the eternal Church reminds the world that is impossible to build any kind of order without truth, without Christ. The Church is the seed of God’s Kingdom, a world in which truth will be at home.

Since all these things [the present world] are to be dissolved in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in leading lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set ablaze and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire? But, in accordance with his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness will dwell. (2 Peter 3:11-13)

It is impossible for the Church to validate a lie. If that appears to happen, we have to conclude the time of the big switch has finally come. Father Leonardo Castellani, a prophet of our times wrote many decades ago:

“The Church, assisted by the Holy Spirit, impedes that manifestation and lessens it, resting on the human order that the Roman Empire organized in a body of laws and political practice; but the day will come for the end of this age, and the One who now holds it back, the Obstacle, will be removed. The Holy Spirit will perhaps abandon that social-historical body we call Christendom, sending his own to the most barren isolation, giving them “the wings of the great eagle to fly to the wilderness.” And then the existing temporal structure of the Church will be caught by the Antichrist and will fornicate with the kings of the Earth (if not all the Church, at least a noticeable part of it, as it has already happened in history) and the abomination of desolation will enter the holy place. “So when you see ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it ought not …” then it is fulfilled.” (Will Christ return or not? published in Spanish as Cristo ¿vuelve o no vuelve? 1951 by Paucis Pango, chapter 6 p. 30 “The Mystery of Iniquity.”)

Truth or Force

It is impossible to fool all of the people all of the time. In spite of Lincoln’s dictum, the American mainstream media keeps on trying sometimes with artful forms of deception. Many years ago, when Fox News was emerging in the US television market, I remember telling a friend this: “Fox is too slick and well built to be a project of Conservatives. Fox was conceived as a flypaper trap to attract Conservatives but also as a medium powerful enough to prevent the emergence of a true Conservative television network.” Those familiar with mass communication theory will recognize the trick: “If you can’t beat them, join them!” When Conservative voices were conquering the radio talk show market, it was reasonable to conclude that the movement was going to grow into television and other media. Those were the days when nearly everyone expected the emergence of a Republican majority after the abject failures of the Democrats everywhere. The defection of Fox News to the Liberal side was perhaps one of the greatest news of this election but for many of us was not a surprise. Their work in the US is done, masks are off. All they care about now is to help the enemies of the USA finalize the election heist. All these years they were simply hijacking the Conservative message to make money. They have been Liberals all the time.

With that last bit in mind, please look at the Catholic media landscape. Many times before, I have warned my readers about Catholic organizations that keep a Catholic front only to attract donations. That kind of infiltration affects even the Church itself. Notice how many institutes, orders, movements within the Church started as ultra-traditional movements only to be outed as mere money grabbers and sexual predators. The cases of Marcial Maciel Degollado, Theodore McCarrick, and many others are merely the tip of the iceberg.

If we observe this carefully and connect all the dots, follow the money, and use common sense one does not have to be a great sleuth to discover a number of common threads between the infiltration of the Catholic Church and the infiltration of the various countries of the Western World. If you are like me, a dinosaur that still remembers what the word ‘Christendom’ means … you will see that something surrounded us and it’s been biting the corners of that huge territory little by little. In former times it used to be a military danger that was out there but now there are other less obvious fronts. I am talking about the cultural and political arenas. Today we are so invaded by the social and academic rules and regulations promoted by Liberals that a time traveler coming from 100 years ago would be much surprised to find that a good number of words he used daily are now bad words not to be uttered. I won’t give you examples because a mere brief enumeration of such words can cost me the blog. We navigate very oppressive cultural waters. The same people that burned several American cities last summer will call you uncivilized for breaking those stupid Liberal rules. That is the spirit behind the sudden media coronation of Joe Biden as ‘president elect’ when it is clear that he is not even close to have the right to call himself that way.

What lurks behind the infiltration of the Church, and the infiltration of the cultural, political, academic, corporate –and so many other areas of society– is a single invisible power. Yes, it used to be invisible but ever since this current Presidential Election one can easily see the contours of a group that is looking for the same old objectives: exclusive overwhelming power to be used to oppress, enslave, and ransack the riches of nations. It is a criminal band that has existed since times immemorial. Like any old crook, they have learned to develop new instruments and tools to make their profession more lucrative and less risky. They have devised ways to weaponize entire areas of civilized society. First they colonize them (think academia, or the Catholic priesthood) and then they learn how to use it to achieve their own nefarious objectives.

The power of those criminals is amplified by their cloak of deception. Usually, the victim does not know what hit him. But gods they are not. In fact, anyone who expects to make a good living going to the dark side is by definition a big fool. There is no peace for the wicked. And so, sometimes they make mistakes. The 2020 U.S. Presidential Election was a big miscalculation more or less comparable to Pharaoh’s miscalculation when he decided to follow the Hebrews across the Red Sea.

Almost immediately after the election, it was quite evident that something was out of whack. To complete the picture, seeing the American News Media trying to cover the enormous irregularities with a “nothing to see here, go home” made it even more glaringly obvious: it was an election heist of gargantuan proportions and quite sloppy as well. The old crooks are getting careless, as they usually do.

In absence of truth, force must be used. Societies under Communism know it very well. Anyone who tells the truth will quickly feel the force of the State. The U.S. is not at that stage yet but anyone becoming an enemy of the friends of Theodore McCarrick (such as yours truly) will find himself suddenly not welcome at any parish, unemployable, socially isolated. Anyone who even mentions the fraudulent nature of the last election will be called brainwashed, conspiranoid, tinfoil hatter, racist, and worse. That is quite useful when it comes to identify those being used by the powers that be. In the planned American Gulag, those will be the prison guards.

In the days, weeks, months to come we will learn more about what really transpired during the election. Eventually the media will run out of fingers to plug the leaks in the dam’s wall. They will try intimidation: “nice town you have there, it would be a shame if it burns up tonight …” Many have tried that through history. It does not work. One cannot rule for long on fear. Eventually the tyrant grows old and begins to make mistakes. To make things even more ominous for the bad guys, God is watching. God knows the name of each one of all the millions of babies aborted, of the many children abused, of the many induced to waste their life by using drugs.

The brutal Tower of Babel build by modernity simply cannot be. Nothing lasts, nothing prospers long without Jesus. This election was only the first rumble announcing the total collapse. No Admiral Potemkin, no media explanation, no curtain, no cardboard village can hide what is coming.

Be alert, keep the powder dry while you watch and see how God purifies the world.
